Apple can introduce many new devices in its ‘Pro and tell’ event. These are expected to include OLED MacBook Pro with touchscreen, iPad mini with OLED display, new iMac and MacBook Pro with M6 chipset. Before the possible launch, a report has come out regarding the price of OLED MacBook Pro, according to which its price may be about 300 to 500 dollars more than the current model.
Apple has prepared to introduce new devices around October 28. However, the company has not yet officially confirmed the features, price and availability of all the devices. In such a situation, the prices and specifications revealed should be seen as leaks and estimates only.
Price of OLED MacBook Pro can start from ₹3.5 lakh
Tom’s Guide report quoting David Naranjo of Counterpoint Research estimates that the price of the 14-inch OLED MacBook Pro could be between $2,799 and $2,999. In comparison, the starting price of the current 14 inch MacBook Pro M5 Pro is $2,499. The price of this model in India starts from ₹ 2,99,900.
Based on this estimate, the starting price of the new OLED MacBook Pro can reach around ₹ 3.5 lakh in India. However, this is only an estimated price and may change after Apple’s official announcement.
The possible price increase could be due to new hardware upgrades along with rising costs of memory and storage. According to reports, touchscreen and Tandem OLED panel can be given in the laptop. Apart from this, it is also expected to get Dynamic Island in place of the existing notch on the screen.
The new MacBook Pro may come in 14-inch and 16-inch display options. There is also a possibility of getting M5 Pro and M5 Max chipset in it. Along with this, the design of the laptop can be lighter than before.
Price of OLED iPad mini also leaked
Apple can also introduce a new iPad mini with OLED display at the event. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman’s estimate, its starting price could be $799, which comes to around ₹1 lakh in India.
The new iPad mini can get upgrades like A20 Pro chipset, front camera with landscape orientation, better speaker and water resistance. However, these features have not been officially confirmed.
New iMac and M6 MacBook Pro may also be launched
Apart from OLED devices, there is also talk of Apple introducing a new 24-inch iMac and MacBook Pro equipped with M6 chipset. Not much information has been revealed about these two devices at present. The starting price of their previous models in India has been ₹ 2,39,900 and ₹ 1,74,900 respectively. The price and availability of the new model will be known only after the official announcement of the company.
