The full price list of 2026 Maruti Suzuki Baleno has been revealed. Maruti Suzuki recently launched the facelift version of Baleno. Earlier only the starting price was mentioned, but now the complete prices of all the variants have become available on the company’s official website. The new Baleno is available starting from Rs 5.99 lakh to Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). At the time of first launch, the starting price was said to be Rs 6.10 lakh, but now the Sigma variant is available for Rs 5.99 lakh.
This updated premium hatchback comes with a new three-cylinder petrol engine, level-2 ADAS, ventilated seats and better mileage. In the market, it competes with cars like Tata Altroz, Hyundai i20 and Toyota Glanza. Baleno has long been known for its space, features and reliability. There are minor changes in the design of the facelift, some new features in the interior and major upgrades in safety. Petrol AMT variants are Rs 50,000 costlier than the manual ones, while CNG carries a premium of around Rs 92,000.
design update
The biggest change is visible in the front fascia. Large chrome grille, new bumper and redesigned LED fog lamps have been provided. The Suzuki logo has shifted above the grille. The chrome garnish and sharkfin antenna on the front fender are new. There are not many changes in the side profile and rear. The 16-inch alloy wheels and LED headlamp-taillamps are continued. A new Enigmatic Teal color option is also available. Length has been kept at 3990 mm and wheelbase at 2520 mm.
Cabin and Comfort
The layered dashboard and black-blue theme continues on the interior. A 9-inch touchscreen, color MID with analog dials, flat-bottom steering wheel and HUD are available. New features include ventilated front seats (first in the segment), wireless charger with cooling and Clarion sound system. Sunroof and rear center armrest are still missing. Boot space is 318 litres.
Features and safety
This includes 9-inch SmartPlay Pro+ infotainment (wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay), auto climate control, cruise control, auto-dimming IRVM, connected car technology and keyless entry-push start. Head-up display and better audio system are available in higher variants.
The biggest upgrade in safety is Level-2 ADAS, which is available on the Alpha (O). It has features like adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, autonomous emergency braking, forward collision warning and high-beam assist. All variants come with 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, hill hold assist, TPMS, 360-degree camera (in upper variants) and ISOFIX.
Engine and Mileage
The new Z12E 1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine has been installed in place of the old 4-cylinder K12N. It gives 83 hp and 112 Nm power. 5-speed manual or AMT options are available. 70 hp and 102 Nm are available in CNG version. Mileage has improved. The mileage is 23.80 km/litre in petrol MT, 24.77 km/litre in AMT and 33.61 km/kg in CNG. This is better than before.
Overall, 2026 Baleno has brought a strong update with better mileage, advanced safety and some premium features. The prices are competitive and it can create good demand in the premium hatchback segment.
