JioBharat 4G Phone: Jio launches 4G phone worth Rs 1499, 6 months free recharge and 14 GB data also

New Delhi. Reliance Group had said in its annual meeting about 5 years ago that the company’s objective is to put 4G smartphones in the hands of all 2G consumers. Fulfilling this promise, Jio has gifted JioBharat 4G phone to consumers in its 10th anniversary offer. The price of this phone is only Rs 1,499 and the person purchasing it will also be given 6 months free recharge. If the cost of this recharge is removed, the price of the phone remains only Rs 299. Providing 4G phones at such a low price will bring huge competition in the market.

The company has introduced this offer especially keeping in mind those consumers who are still using 2G phones. Reliance has said that along with giving this phone for Rs 1,499, 6 months of recharge has been made free. During this period, customers will get 14GB data and unlimited HD voice calling every month. This means that with the purchase of the phone, the worry of recharge for the next six months is also over. Now you will not have to spend money separately on recharge.

How much will the recharge cost?
The company has introduced this offer especially keeping in mind the customers still using 2G feature phones. According to Jio, such customers usually spend around Rs 199 per month on recharge. This amount comes to around Rs 1,200 in six months. In such a situation, by getting both the phone and six months recharge for Rs 1,499, the additional cost of shifting from 2G to 4G remains only Rs 299. However, the customer will have to pay the full price of Rs 1,499 while purchasing the phone.

Gift of film and entertainment too
Jio has said that with the transition from 2G to 4G, the customer will not only get ultra-fast internet, but will also get facilities like more than 500 TV channels of JioTV in JioBharat, cricket on JioHotstar, movies and entertainment, music and UPI payment through JioPay. This phone has a 2.4 inch display and 2000mAh battery. This offer is applicable on select A1, B1, B2 and B3 models of JioBharat.
