Apple is going to organize its annual launch event today i.e. on 9th September. This time the company has named the event ‘Surprise and Shine’. The special thing is that this will be the first Apple September launch event after 2019, in which the company can present new products in the presence of audience and media. The September launches from 2020 to 2025 were conducted via pre-recorded video.
Another special reason for this event is Apple’s new CEO John Ternus. This will be the first time after assuming the post of CEO that he will come on stage to present the company’s new devices.
Event will start at 10:30 pm in India
Apple’s ‘Surprise and Shine’ event will be held at Apple Park in Cupertino, California. According to the company, the event will start at 10 am PT. Its livestream can be seen in India from 10:30 pm IST.

The first foldable iPhone could be the biggest highlight
If leaks and reports are to be believed, Apple may present its first book-style foldable iPhone in this event. There is talk of its name being iPhone Ultra or iPhone Duo. In the initial reports, it was called iPhone Fold, but later different claims came forward regarding this name.
Apple’s new A20 Pro chipset is expected to be available in foldable iPhone. Two 48MP cameras can be provided at the back of the phone. Its inner screen is said to be from Samsung and the crease is expected to be very less in it.
iPhone 18 Pro series will also be launched
Apple’s iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max can also be presented at the event. There is a report of A20 Pro chipset in both the phones. The horizontal camera module of iPhone 17 Pro series may remain intact in the design.
This time, the biggest upgrade in the camera system could be the variable aperture, which will give more control over the hardware level while clicking photos.
Also keep an eye on Apple Watch and AirPods
Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4 are also expected to be introduced at the event. Better performance and new health-tracking features can be found in both watches, while no major changes are expected in the design.
Apart from this, Apple can also introduce some smart home devices with the new AirPods 5. These are said to include HomePod Touch with 7-inch screen, new HomePod Mini 2 and updated Apple TV 4K.
