Kia Model Wise Sales August 2026: Kia India has performed brilliantly in terms of sales in August. The company sold a total of 29,042 units, which is 48% more than last year. The most surprising performance was of Seltos, whose sales jumped by 150%. Syros also registered a tremendous growth of 466%. Kia Model Wise Sales August 2026: Last month, Kia India performed brilliantly in the domestic market and recorded total sales of 29,042 units. Last year, in the same period i.e. August 2025, the company had sold 19,608 units. Thus the company has achieved a strong growth of 48% on an annual basis. The continuously increasing demand for Seltos and Sonet has played the biggest role in this solid growth of Kia. Let’s take a look at the company’s model-wise sales report.
1. Kia Seltos: It has emerged as the best selling vehicle of the company in August 2026. This month, 11,716 units of Seltos were sold, whereas in August 2025 this figure was 4,687 units. It has seen a huge jump of 150% on an annual basis. Due to its design, features and performance, it remains the first choice of customers in the mid-size SUV segment.
Its ex-showroom price starts from ₹ 10.99 lakh and goes up to ₹ 21.82 lakh. Its design is bold and muscular, with a large grille, LED headlights and connected taillights. The interior is premium, with dual 10.25/12.3 inch screens, soft-touch dash and spacious cabin. Features include panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, wireless charger and Bose sound. Safety includes 6 airbags as standard, 5-star BNCAP rating, ADAS and ESC. Engine options are 1.5L petrol (115 hp), turbo (160 hp) and diesel (116 hp), while mileage ranges from 15-20.7 kmpl (ARAI).

2. Kia Sonet: Kia Sonet continues to perform strongly in the compact SUV segment. A total of 9,048 units of Sonet were sold in August 2026, which shows an annual growth of 17% as compared to 7,741 units recorded in August 2025. Its demand among young customers remains stable in the market due to its modern features, turbo petrol and diesel engine options.
Kia Carens: There has been a slight decline in its sales this month. 6,093 units of Carens have been sold in August 2026, whereas last year in August 2025, sales of 6,822 units were recorded. There has been a decline of 11% on annual basis. Despite this, it maintains its strong identity as a practical and comfortable 6/7-seater family MPV.
Kia Syros: It has surprised everyone by registering a huge surge in August 2026. This month, 1,742 units of Cyros were sold, whereas in August 2025 it was only 308 units. The model has achieved an impressive growth of 466% on year-on-year basis. Its modern styling and premium features are getting great response among new buyers.
Kia Sorento: It has made its new debut in the Indian market and has registered its name in the sales table. A total of 365 units of this new model have been sold in August 2026. This is considered a positive start for Sorento, which has been introduced as a new option in the premium SUV segment, from which better figures are expected in the coming months.
Kia Carnival: Premium luxury MPV Kia Carnival has also registered improvement in its sales this month. 78 units of Carnival were sold in August 2026, whereas in August 2025 this number was 50 units. It has seen a solid growth of 56% on an annual basis. It is known among premium and VIP customers for its excellent space and luxury comfort.
