Jammu and Kashmir seamer Rohit Sharma has claimed four wickets against Madhya Pradesh in its Ranji Trophy 2026-27 season-opener in Srinagar.
The 32-year-old right-arm seamer dismissed Harsh Gawli, Himanshu Mantri, and debutants Chanchal Rathod and Atharva Mahajan as defending champion J&K dominated the opening two session of the day.
Rohit made his return to the J&K side during the Irani Cup 2026, where he went wicketless. He has made 22 First-Class appearances for the side, but did not feature during its victorious campaign.

He has 39 First-Class wickets at an average of 34.66. His last appearance came against Services in Srinagar in October 2024.
J&K has been drawn in Group A for the first round of the Ranji Trophy, along with Baroda, Bihar, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Puducherry, Uttar Pradesh, and Vidarbha.
