Google is continuously emphasizing on making its Gemini AI more smart and useful. Now the company has brought such new voice features for Gmail, Google Docs and Google Keep, with the help of which users will be able to do many things by speaking instead of typing. This means that everything from finding necessary information in email to preparing documents and making notes can be done only through voice.
Google has named these features Gmail Live, Docs Live and Keep Live. According to the company, the purpose of Gemini Voice is to make the way of working with these Google apps easier and conversation-like.
Search old emails in minutes with Gmail Live
If you have many years of emails stored in your Gmail inbox and it is difficult to find any important information, then Gmail Live can be very useful.
Users can ask questions directly to Gemini, such as ‘What are my flight details?’ Or ‘Tell us about upcoming school events.’ After this, Gemini can give the necessary reply by looking at the information present in the inbox. This can reduce the time spent repeatedly opening old emails and finding the right message.
Prepare documents by speaking in Docs Live
Docs Live can be useful for those who take time to write their ideas. In this, the user can express his thoughts verbally and Gemini can organize them and prepare a draft.
If needed, Gemini can take information from Gmail, Drive and Chat and include it in the document. If the user has permission, information can also be taken from the web. Apart from this, the tone of the document can also be changed as per requirement.

Create notes and reminders by speaking in Keep Live
Voice feature has also been added to Google Keep. Through Keep Live, the user can save things like his ideas, important tasks, reminders or shopping lists by speaking.

Which users will get the benefit of Gemini Voice?
These new voice features of Gemini are being rolled out for Google AI Plus, Pro and Ultra subscribers. However, currently access to Docs Live is being given only to Pro and Ultra users.
Google has also said that business users of Workspace will also get these features, but the exact date of rollout for them has not been revealed yet.
With these new features, Google is taking Gemini beyond just answering questions and presenting it as an assistant used in everyday tasks. In the coming time, it may be easier than ever to do many tasks in Gmail, Docs and Keep just by speaking.
