Samsung is preparing to change the prices of its Galaxy A-series smartphones once again. According to a new report, the company may increase the price of different RAM and storage variants of Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37 in India. Among these, there may be a higher increase in the price of some models of Galaxy A37.
However, Samsung has not yet given any official information regarding increasing the price of Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37. The prices revealed in the report are based on the claims of a tipster.
Galaxy A57 price increased by up to ₹5,000!
Tipster Sanju Choudhary has claimed on X that the price of Samsung Galaxy A57 has been changed. According to the report, the price of the model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage of the phone may increase from ₹ 59,999 to ₹ 62,999. That means an increase of ₹ 3,000 is being said on this variant.
Whereas, the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model of Galaxy A57 was earlier available for ₹ 67,499. Its price has been claimed to increase to ₹ 72,499. In this way, there can be a direct increase of ₹ 5,000 on this variant.
Prices will also increase on Galaxy A37
In the case of Galaxy A37, the price increase may be even higher. According to the report, the price of its 8GB + 128GB variant may increase from ₹ 43,999 to ₹ 46,999. That means there has been an increase of ₹ 3,000 in it.
Apart from this, the price of 8GB + 256GB model has been claimed to increase from ₹ 50,499 to ₹ 54,499. You may have to spend ₹ 4,000 more on this variant.
The highest increase is seen in the 12GB + 256GB model of Galaxy A37. Its price may increase from ₹ 57,999 to ₹ 63,999. This means that the price of this variant is said to increase by ₹ 6,000.
Samsung did not make any official announcement
At present, the most important thing about these prices is that the alleged new prices are not visible on Samsung’s website and related product pages. Therefore, for now these prices should be seen as reported prices only.
If there is indeed a change in prices, it could be due to rising costs of memory and other components. In the smartphone industry, the effect of these costs is visible on the prices of devices of different companies.
Galaxy A-Series prices have been increased before too
The alleged price hike of Galaxy A57 and A37 has come at a time when there was news of change in the prices of many other Galaxy A and F-series phones of Samsung.
Recently, there were reports of price increase of some variants of Galaxy A17, Galaxy A27, Galaxy F17 and Galaxy A07 5G. Among these, the highest increase in the price of Galaxy A17 was reported.
In such a situation, if the new prices of Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37 prove to be correct, then customers may have to spend more money than before to buy these two Samsung smartphones in India.
