Skoda Auto India has launched its premium sedan Skoda Slavia in a new avatar today, 6 October 2026. 2026 Skoda Slavia has been introduced at a starting price of Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Slavia, launched in 2022, has received this first major update. The company has made important changes in styling, features and gearbox. Delivery is scheduled to start from next week. The car is offered in Classic, Classic+, Signature, Sportline, Prestige and Monte Carlo variants.
The price ranges from Rs 9.99 lakh to Rs 18.84 lakh. It will compete with Honda City, Hyundai Verna and VW Virtus in the mid-size sedan segment. Skoda claims that around 80,000 units have been sold since its launch and it holds around 30 percent share in the segment. Features like rear seat massage, 360 degree camera and new 8-speed automatic gearbox have been added to the facelift. This update makes the car more attractive and feature-rich. The front of the Slavia facelift has new all-LED headlamps, which have segmented daytime running lights and sequential turn indicators. The revised front bumper, LED fog lamps (with cornering function) and the new grille design give the car a fresh look. The rear has updated tail-lamps and new 16-inch alloy wheels. New color options like Arctic Silver and Cappuccino Beige are also available.
Interior and Features
The cabin features a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support. AI Companion (Google Cloud-based) enhances voice commands. The massage function on the rear seat is a segment-first feature. 360-degree camera has also been added. The car has maintained a 5-star rating in Global NCAP.
Engine and Mileage
The 1.0-litre TSI (115 PS, 178 Nm) comes with a 6-speed manual or the new 8-speed automatic. The 1.5-litre TSI (150 PS, 250 Nm) is available with 7-speed DSG. Estimated mileage is around 18-20 km/l.
