Visakhapatnam: YSRC president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy criticised Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, police and SEC for winning the elections, by ensuring that the opposition never gets a chance to compete. Following the clean sweep by NDA candidates in the urban local body elections, Jagan expressed anguish over the election process.

On X, he posted: Congratulations, Team @ncbn, Police, and SEC!

You have demonstrated how to win an election spectacularly by ensuring that the opposition never gets a chance to compete!

At every stage, the process was rigged:

* Nomination: Hijacked!

* Scrutiny: Hijacked!

* Withdrawal: Hijacked!

* Polling agents: Obstructed or Pulled Out!

* Poll: Rigged!

* Poll percentage: Manipulated!

* Counting: Hijacked!

You selected the candidates; the people never elected them!

These are no longer elections but selections!

The need for electoral reforms has never been more obvious!
