Airtel has launched three recharge plans without data pack.

New Delhi. Following the guidelines of telecom regulator TRAI, Bharti Airtel has launched voice calling and SMS plans. The company said that this recharge plan will be without data and only calling facility will be available in it, while SMS will also be included. In this plan, once recharged, there will be facility of 300 SMS, while calling will be unlimited. Airtel has launched three plans for voice and SMS.

Airtel said that the price and validity of the three plans for voice and SMS are different. The cheapest plan in this plan offered under the framework of TRAI is Rs 185, which will be valid for 28 days. After this comes a plan of Rs 203, whose validity will be 30 days. The company has also launched a plan with validity of 1 month and has priced it at Rs 206. One month means whether the month is of 31 days or 28 days, it will be covered in this recharge.

Internet facility will not be available
Unlimited voice calling and 300 SMS will be available free in all these three plans of Airtel. Internet and data facilities will not be provided in these three plans. The company says that there will be no data bundle, which means that this option has been given for customers who do not need internet data. Users who focus on calling will get the facility to choose recharge as per their need. This cheap plan will be very useful for those customers who do not need internet or data.

TRAI’s deadline is till 21st October
Telecom regulator TRAI has given the deadline of October 21 only for the tariffs providing voice and SMS facilities. This means that all telecom companies will have to launch such a plan before this date. At present, Airtel has taken the initiative and now it is the turn of Jio and Voda-Idea. Both these companies will also have to launch their voice calling and SMS plans before October 21. Actually, TRAI had proposed this a month ago and had said that all telecom companies will have to launch such recharge plans within 30 days.
