Hyundai is one of the largest car companies in the Indian auto market. The company is continuously performing better. The same was seen in last month’s sale also. Hyundai has sold a total of 54,396 units in August 2026. This figure shows an impressive increase of 24 percent on an annual basis compared to the total 44,001 units sold in August 2025.
If we look at the sales report, Hyundai Creta has been the best selling car of the company. Apart from this, demand for SUVs like Hyundai Venue and Hyundai Exter has also increased. At the same time, demand for IONIQ 5 has decreased along with Alcazar and Verna. Let us take a look at the company’s model-wise sales report.
Hyundai Creta
Hyundai Creta is at number one in terms of sales. A total of 16,288 units were sold last month. This figure shows a slight increase of 2 percent on an annual basis compared to the total 15,924 units sold in August 2025. Its ex-showroom price starts from ₹ 10.91 lakh and goes up to ₹ 20.11 lakh.
Its design has a bold parametric grille, LED DRL and connected tail lamp. The interior has dual 10.25-inch screens, panoramic sunroof and ventilated seats. Features include wireless charging, 360° camera and ADAS on top. For safety, standard 6 airbags, ESC, ABS and TPMS are provided. Engine options are 1.5L petrol (115PS), diesel (116PS) and turbo petrol (160PS), while the mileage ranges from 17.4 to 21.8 kmpl.
Hyundai Venue
Venue is at second place in terms of sales. A total of 11,365 units of this SUV were sold last month. This figure represents an annual increase of 40 percent compared to the total 8,109 units sold in August 2025.
Hyundai Exter
Exter is at number three in the list. A total of 8,157 units of this micro SUV were sold last month. This figure represents an increase of 61 percent on an annual basis compared to the total 5,061 units sold in August 2025.
Hyundai Aura
Hyundai Aura is at fourth place in terms of sales. A total of 6,685 units were sold last month. This figure represents an annual increase of 25 percent compared to the total 5,336 units sold in August 2025.
Hyundai Grand i10
On the basis of excellent sales, Grand i10 has registered its name in the list of top 5 cars of the company. A total of 5,342 units were sold last month. This figure shows an annual increase of 37 percent compared to the total 3,908 units sold in August 2025.
Apart from the top-5 cars of the company mentioned above, 5,165 units of i20, 856 units of Alcazar, 529 units of Verna and only 9 units of IONIQ 5 were sold last month. At the same time, Tucson has not got a single customer in the last month.
