If you are planning to travel abroad and are worried about mobile connectivity there, then Vodafone Idea (Vi) has introduced a useful option for you. The company is now offering international roaming benefits without any additional charges with some select prepaid, postpaid and enterprise plans. According to the plan, users can get the benefit of roaming for up to three international trips in a year.
According to Vi, through these bundled roaming benefits, customers who frequently go abroad can reduce their roaming expenses. The company claims that some users can save up to Rs 9,000 annually. However, the data and outgoing calling limits will be different in each plan.
Which Vi plans will provide roaming benefits?
Vi has said that postpaid plans starting from Rs 501, prepaid plans with annual unlimited data and enterprise plans starting from Rs 451 are eligible for this facility.
Depending on the plan, customers can avail roaming benefits during a maximum of three international trips in a year. This may include international mobile data and outgoing calling minutes. However, Vi has not yet made public the exact limit of data and calling benefits available for each plan.
