South Africa’s road to the ICC ODI World Cup 2027 is now mapped out, with the full fixture list confirming its opponents, match dates and venues for the tournament it will co-host with Zimbabwe and Namibia.
The Proteas have been drawn in Group B alongside Bangladesh, England, Sri Lanka, New Zealand and a team emerging from the Qualifier tournament.
The upcoming edition will feature 14 teams competing across 12 venues and 57 matches for cricket’s most prestigious prize.
The tournament begins on 2 October 2027 with the commencement of the Super Series in Windhoek, a three-team stage to determine the final Group Stage team.
The remaining 12 teams are split into two groups of six, with the best seven teams progressing to the Super 7 phase.
The top four teams move on to the semifinals, with the Final set for 21 November.
South Africa will begin its World Cup campaign against New Zealand on October 9 at Cape Town.

The top three teams in each group and the fourth-placed team with more points than the fourth-place finisher in the other Group Stage group go on to the Super 7 phase.
