India and Pakistan renew their cricket rivalry on Friday as the two sides meet in a Group C encounter at the Hong Kong Sixes 2026. Led by Krunal Pandya, India will look to build on its two-run victory over Pakistan in last year’s edition, while the defending champion, captained by Abbas Afridi, will be keen to make a statement. With six overs per innings and plenty of power-hitters on either side, another high-scoring thriller could be in store at the Mission Road Ground.

What is the format of the Hong Kong Sixes tournament?
Its fast-paced, full of action, rains sixes and fours but its starkly different to your average T20 game. The Hong Kong Sixes features a six-over-per-side match, hence the name. Each team comprises seven players, with every player except a designated wicket-keeper required to bowl.
