Arattai Mappls Partnership: Arattai and Maples have joined hands. The coming together of India’s two top tech companies is an alarm bell for Google Maps and WhatsApp. While Aarttai is known for its security features, Maples is famous for its doorstep navigation.
Talks for partnership between the two companies started last year.
New Delhi. Zoho Corporation’s messaging app Arattai and India’s own indigenous navigation platform Mappls have joined hands. Now as soon as you chat with a friend on the Arattai app, his exact location will be directly displayed on Maples with a single click, which will show you the exact route to his house. Experts believe that this alliance will put global giants like Google Maps and WhatsApp in tension. Maples is also known for showing the way through the narrow streets of India with complete accuracy. Zoho Corporation’s Arattai provides users with a privacy-focused and data security-enabled messaging experience.

what will change now
Before this new update, whenever a user shared a location in Arttai Chat, the link used to open by default in foreign tools like Google Maps or Apple Maps. But this will not happen now. As soon as your friend or relative sends the location pin in the chat, you will get the option to open it in Mappls (MapmyIndia Maps) directly on the screen. That means no hassle of copying any link, no hassle of typing the address separately. Just one tap and your navigation is on.
Doorstep navigation will be available
The structure of Indian roads and colonies is such that finding a house number or taking the right turn in narrow streets is no less than a maze for foreign apps like Google Maps. Often Google or Apple Maps declares the journey over after taking them to the main road, due to which people have to call and ask for directions. This is where Mappls of MapMyIndia wins.
Maples have been specially designed according to Indian conditions. Its special doorstep navigation system takes the user directly to the right house or gate. Apart from this, 3D junction view, real-time traffic updates and safety alerts for speed breakers and sharp turns as per Indian roads make it a great option.
Vision of 2025 now becomes reality
Efforts for this alliance had started last year itself. At that time, Rohan Verma, director of MapMyIndia, had suggested that if Maples’ API is linked with Arattai, it would prove to be a game-changer for Indian users. Now in 2026, this vision has become a complete reality.
