BYD India has launched a special festive edition of its premium electric SUV BYD Sealion 7 during the festive season. This limited edition model is based on the premium variant and its ex-showroom price has been kept at Rs 50.60 lakh. The company has limited this edition to only 150 units. This launch is part of BYD’s ‘Celebrate Your Dreams with BYD’ campaign.
The biggest feature of the Festive Edition is its exclusive tan and black interior, which gives a warm and premium look to the cabin. All other features, performance and specifications are the same as the standard premium variant. This model is an attractive option for those buyers who want a little extra exclusivity. Design and interior
There has been no change in the exterior design. The sleek and modern look of Sealion 7 remains intact. This SUV comes with a bold front grille, sharp LED lighting and aerodynamic profile. 19 inch alloy wheels and overall stylish approach give it a distinct identity in the premium segment.
The real highlight of the Festive Edition is the tan and black color themed interior. This combination has been applied to the quilted Nappa leather seats, dashboard and door trims. The panoramic glass roof (with electric sunshade), ambient lighting and premium finishes make the cabin feel luxurious.
Features and safety
Key features include a 15.6-inch rotating touchscreen infotainment system (with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support), 10.25-inch digital driver display, heads-up display, 12-speaker Dynaudio sound system, ventilated and heated front seats (driver memory function), dual-zone climate control and powered tailgate. Sealion 7 is strong in terms of safety. It has 11 airbags, 360-degree camera, Level 2 ADAS and has received 5-star rating from Euro NCAP.
Battery, Motor and Range
The powertrain has an 82.56 kWh blade battery, which is equipped with BYD’s Cell-to-Body (CTB) technology and Intelligent Torque Adaptation Control (iTAC). The rear-wheel drive motor generates 230 kW (approximately 308-313 hp) of power and 380 Nm of torque. The speed of 0-100 km/h is achieved in 6.7 seconds. The company claims a range of 567 km on the NEDC cycle.
