Leg-spinner Graeme Cremer has been recalled to Zimbabwe’s 15-member T20I squad for the tri-nation series against South Africa and Namibia starting on August 28.
The 39-year-old, who has been out of action since the T20 World Cup and seven years prior to that, has recovered from a left-arm injury and will be part of the squad led by all-rounder Sikandar Raza.
Zimbabwe’s Test and ODI captain, Richard Ngarava, has not been included in the squad as he continues his recovery from a lower-back injury.
Fast bowler Tanaka Chivanga also missed out on selection, after having undergone surgery because of an Achilles tendon injury.
Meanwhile Brendan Taylor, Zimbabwe’s second highest international run-scorer, was left out from the squad after he last featured in a T20I against Oman in the T20 World Cup.
