Apple iPhone Purchase Limit: Apple has fixed the purchase limit of iPhone. The company has taken this step to prevent black marketing, re-selling and sudden shortage of stock due to the festive season and huge demand for new foldable phones.
This ban has been completely implemented on all old and new iPhone models present in the store.
New Delhi. Apple has given a big shock to its customers in India. The company has fixed the purchase limit of iPhone in the Indian market. Under the new rules, now a customer will be able to buy only a maximum of two units from the entire iPhone range. If a buyer tries to buy three iPhones online, the system will not accept it. This means that now you will not be able to order three iPhones at once even if you want to.
If customers wish, they can order two iPhones of the same model together, or they can choose two different iPhone models of their choice. The company has implemented this restriction just before the official retail sale of iPhone Duo starting on October 23. iPhone Duo is Apple’s first foldable smartphone. It is believed that the company has taken this step to prevent black marketing, re-selling and sudden shortage of stock due to the festive season and huge demand for new foldable phones.
The ban applies to the entire iPhone range
This restriction is not limited to premium or newly launched smartphones only. This ban has been completely implemented on all old and new iPhone models present in the store. That means, the buying limit has been implemented on all phones including iPhone Duo, iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max.
This means customers can order two units of the iPhone Duo or buy an iPhone 18 Pro along with an iPhone Duo. The same rule applies to other models including iPhone 17.
If the customer wants to buy a third phone, a warning starts appearing on Apple’s online store. It reads, “Each customer can purchase a maximum of 2 iPhones. Please adjust the total number of iPhones in your order before checkout.”
