Airtel Postpaid Plan: Airtel has made its postpaid plan expensive. The company said that from October 8, postpaid plans will become costlier by Rs 50, but customers will be given a special facility. Airtel says that now its customers will get the benefit of free roaming once a year during international travel.

New Delhi. The country’s second largest telecom company Airtel has made its postpaid plans expensive. The company has said that the new rates of the plan will be implemented from October 8 itself. This will affect only postpaid plans and the company has not made any changes in prepaid plans. Along with increasing the prices of postpaid plans, the company has also added another feature. The company says that along with charging higher prices for the plan, customers will also be given additional facilities.
Company sources say that Bharti Airtel has increased its postpaid charges by Rs 50. Under this new plan, one free international roaming trip will be given every year. The new plans will come into effect from October 8, 2026, and existing ‘postpaid’ customers will be transferred from their existing plan to the nearest higher amount plan within a month. A company official said that the free international roaming facility is worth Rs 2,000.
How will roaming facility be available?
The company said that under the new plan, the postpaid fee will increase by Rs 50 as compared to the existing fee. The new postpaid plan has been introduced with more features. From October 8, 2026, customers will be able to avail free roaming during one international trip every year in addition to all the existing features with these new ‘postpaid plans’. The free roaming pack includes five GB data, 60 minutes of calls, 25 outgoing SMS and free incoming SMS. Its validity will be five days. This means that you will be able to enjoy free roaming during international travel for 5 days.
Activate roaming whenever you want
Customers can activate it as per their convenience. Every member in the family plan will be eligible for free roaming facility. Free international roaming is the latest feature in Airtel postpaid plans. These plans provide a better experience through fast lane technology, unlimited data and protection against spam and fake links at the network level. Customers can also avail a range of entertainment subscriptions and exclusive experiences through Airtel Postpaid Advantage Club. These include comedy shows, film premieres and music concerts.
