After securing a 2-1 ODI series win, India will look to carry its momentum against West Indies into the five-match T20I series starting with the first T20I in Lucknow on Tuesday.
Shreyas Iyer and co., just three days from winning the Asian Games 2026 gold medal, will take the field against Shai Hope’s side.
The two sides last met in the shortest format at the T20 World Cup 2026. India won by five wickets after Sanju Samson’s 97 off 50 balls helped the side chase down 195.
Talking about Samson, it will be interesting to see what opening combination India will go with. If Samson, who has been inconsistent in recent matches, gets dropped, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi will pair up with Abhishek Sharma.
