The Haryana pacer had been in good form for India A against Australia A, picking up three wickets in the first four-day game. He had picked up three wickets in Australia A’s first innings in the second game before being called up to join the India squad.
Kamboj had never played an ODI before Saturday, but boasts an impressive List A record, with 56 wickets at an average of 22.41 in 35 matches. He made his Test debut against England last year, his only previous appearance for India.
