MG Model-wise Sales Sep 2026: JSW MG Motor has released the sales report for September 2026 in the Indian auto market. The company has registered a strong growth of 19% on an annual basis and has sold a total of 8,018 units, whereas last year in the same month, 6,728 vehicles were sold. Electric and premium models played an important role in this sales. Windsor achieved the highest sales, although it saw a decline compared to last year.
At the same time, new models like Tomahawk and Magister have made a great entry in the market. Aster and Hector have further strengthened the brand’s position by registering a tremendous jump in their sales. New preferences of customers and demand for modern features during the festive season have given a new impetus to the overall growth of the company. MG Windsor
In September 2026, Windsor remained at the forefront by selling 3,300 units. However, there has been an annual decline of 30%. Its aerodynamic design and lounge-like premium interior is very special. The car has safety features like 15.6-inch touchscreen, panoramic glass roof and level-2 ADA with 6 airbags. It generates 136 bhp power with a 38 kWh battery pack and gives a range of 331 km on a single charge. Its ex-showroom price with BaaS starts at just ₹ 9.99 lakh.
MG Tomahawk
The company’s new offering Tomahawk has registered excellent sales of 1,933 units in the very first month. Its muscular SUV design, bold grille and futuristic cabin attracts customers. It has digital console, 360-degree camera, ventilated seats and strong safety package. This car comes with a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, which gives approximately 190 bhp power and its mileage is approximately 13-14 km per liter.
MG Comet
Comet EV achieved sales of 978 units this month, which is 19% less than last year’s 1,203 units. Its boxy and compact design is suitable for the city. Dual-screen setup and connected car features are provided in the cabin. Dual airbags, ABS and rear camera are available for safety. Equipped with 17.3 kWh battery pack, this car has a driving range of up to 230 km on a single charge.
MG Hector
Hector registered a huge growth of 78% year-on-year and its sales increased from 409 to 726 units. Its chrome grill design and large cabin make it premium. Features include 14-inch touchscreen, powered tailgate and ADAS safety. It gets 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and 2.0-litre diesel engine options, which offer mileage of up to 13.5 km/litre and 15.5 km/litre respectively.
MJ Majestor
The new flagship model Magister opened a stellar account in September with sales of 517 units. Its boxy, bold exterior and ultra-luxury three-row leather interior provide a special experience. It has been provided with panoramic sunroof, massage seats and multiple airbags. This SUV is powered by a 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine, which produces 215 bhp power and its average mileage is around 11-12 kmpl.
MG Astor
Astor sold 284 units, a record jump of 216%, whereas last year only 90 units were sold. Its European style design and soft-touch interior is excellent. Personal AI assistant, panoramic roof and ESP are available in the car. It has a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine, which produces 110 bhp power and gives a mileage of about 14-15 km per liter.
MG ZS EV
ZS EV registered sales of 280 units with an annual growth of 12%. Its closed-grill front and sporty cabin give it a premium feel. It has a 10.1-inch touchscreen, 6 airbags, blind spot detection and electronic parking brake. Equipped with a 50.3 kWh battery pack, this SUV produces 176 bhp power and gives a claimed range of 461 km on a full charge.
