Jammu and Kashmir fast bowler Auqib Nabi has been added to India’s squad for the first three ODIs against New Zealand, BCCI announced on Saturday.
The right-arm pacer, who was initially in the squad for the fourth and fifth ODIs of the series, will be a part of the Indian squad from the start of the ODI series.
Earlier this year, he made his India debut during the second ODI against West Indies in Guwahati, but he returned wicketless and conceded 84 runs in 8.5 overs.
The bowler from Baramulla had earned his maiden India team call-up during August’s Sri Lanka Test series, replacing Jasprit Bumrah, after claiming 60 wickets in the 2025-26 Ranji Trophy season.
