Delivery of Kia Sorento has started.
Kia India has started the deliveries of its premium three-row SUV Sorento. This is the company’s first hybrid model in India. Kia Sorento prices start from ₹27.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and go up to ₹40.39 lakh. The diesel variant is cheaper while the hybrid is a bit expensive.
Production is taking place at Anantapur plant in Andhra Pradesh. Pre-booking is open at a token amount of ₹25,000 and now the company has started handing it over to customers. It will compete with premium SUVs like Toyota Fortuner, Skoda Kodiaq and Volkswagen Tyron in the market. It is available in both 6 and 7 seater layouts. Design and interior
The design of Sorento is bold and muscular. It has vertically stacked LED headlamps, L-shaped DRL, gloss-black tiger nose grille, 19-inch alloy wheels, roof rails and wraparound LED tail-lights. Eight exterior color options are available.
