Honda has launched its new electric scooter QC3 in the Indian market. The ex-showroom price of this scooter has been kept at Rs 1.35 lakh in New Delhi. The company is presenting it as a better option for family use. Honda QC3 Electric Scooter has been given a certified range of 145 kilometers in IDC cycle. It has connected technology and 32 liters of underseat storage space available. Bookings have now started through the website and authorized dealers by depositing Rs 5,000.
Initially this scooter will be available at select Honda Redwing dealerships in five cities like Delhi, Agra, Cuttack, Surat and Kollam. Honda is currently far behind Bajaj and TVS in the electric scooter segment. The company’s total sales of QC1 and Activa e in August 2026 were only 2,042 units, which is a very small part of the segment. Through QC3, Honda wants to strengthen its electric presence by attracting families.
design details
Talking about design, QC3 has been given a modern and attractive look. This matte is available in four color options like Photon Gray Metallic, Pearl Precious White, Pearl Shallow Blue and Pearl Siren Blue. LED DRLs are provided with all LED lighting, which gives a premium look to the scooter. Underseat storage stands at 32 litres, providing ample space for everyday needs.
Features and safety
Among the features, 5 inch TFT display is the most special. It includes features like Honda RoadSync, Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation and call-SMS alert. Keyless start facility is also provided with smart key, which makes use easier. For safety reasons, disc brakes have been installed at the front and drum brakes at the rear. The suspension has telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear which make riding comfortable.
Battery, Motor and Range
The battery is a 3 kilowatt-hour fixed non-swappable type. It takes 2 hours 40 minutes to charge from 0 to 80 percent and 4 hours to fully charge. The IDC range is said to be 145 kilometers, which is considered good for everyday use in the city. The company has not mentioned the exact power of the motor but based on the battery and range, it seems to be a model that meets the needs of the family.
